Product review: Razor DIamondback Mouse

I bought this mouse with some christmas money I had last December. It is suppossed to have 1,000 DPI vs. the traditional 150 DPI regualr mice have. This is geared for gamers, that need precision in games such as shooters. It comes with its own carrying case, and software suite. I even noticed that it had gold USB connector. My first impression of this mouse was that it was very sleek in design, and the mouse clickers feel kinda like rubber. You plug it in and the scroll mouse glows neon red. It has super slippery feet on it, and is AMAZINGLY fast. You can adjust the sensitivity, but man I was blown away how my regualar mouse lags in movement. This thing is actually so precise it takes alittle getting used to. It boasts many programmable buttons on sides, and overall is a killer value at $58.99. The only drawback I can fault it on is the use of USB only, doesn't work with the generic PS/2 converters. You are probably thinking who cares about PS/2, but I use a I/O gear 4 port KVM switch, and it sucks having to switch to the game mouse. Other than that, it does exactly what it says it does, delivers awesome performance many gamers demand, and has a great price for what you get.

I rate this product 4.5/5.0 (Would give it 5.o if it were compatible with PS/2 connection)
